The Chase Sapphire Preferred is arguably one of the best mid tier travel credit cards available. If you travel casually a few times throughout the year then the Sapphire Preferred is a must have.
This card earns Chase Ultimate Reward points by spending in a wide variety of categories, and those points can be redeemed for travel and other options. One of the best methods of point redemption is transferring points out to Chase Travel Partners like Hyatt, United, and others.

3 points per $1 spent on dining (including eligible delivery services and takeout)
3 points per $1 spent on select streaming services

The Chase Sapphire Preferred pairs together extremely well with the Freedom Flex and Freedom Unlimited. All three cards earn Chase Ultimate Reward Points and together are known as the Chase Trifecta.
Regardless of income level, age, or even how often you travel, the Sapphire Preferred card is extremely easy to get big value from having.
